What to expect

We’re excited for your Business Buildout! In preparation, please read the following so you know what to expect, and then fill out the Client Intake Questionnaire on this page (you can also email us this info!).

The Business Buildout is a unique intensive process designed to build your brand and streamline your business in 1-2 DAYS. In order to make the process go smoothly we do as much of the backend research and creative work as we can beforehand. This means by the time we kick-off we have thought a lot about your business and, based on the strategy in the Business Blueprint you approved, have developed a plan to execute which will set you up to reach your big goals and bring that vision to life! Please note, this process is designed to provide you with a finalized project & brand at the end of your scheduled Intensive!

How it works

The Business Buildout is a process that builds on itself. We have a schedule that we follow to ensure that we deliver all items as promised. This requires us to move along in the process in a somewhat timely manner, which is why we require clear communication from you!

We welcome your honest reactions, thoughts and questions as they come up. It’s important that we discuss all feedback before moving forward because all future decisions build on previous decisions.

1) Reference your Welcome email which will include your Intensive date(s), details, and 3rd party programs that we’ll need you to create an account for (if applicable).

2) Fill out the client intake form below and submit any additional documents by the deadline provided in your welcome email to ensure time for review and a smooth process. We recommend setting aside 45 min to complete the questionnaire and additional time to complete any provided workbooks. It will include questions that ask for login details so get that info ready! Please note, if we don’t receive the required info from you by the deadline provided your project is subject to be pushed to a later date.

(Please note the form will not save work to come back to, if you need to revisit a few times please either just email us the answers, or use a document to back up your work!)

Social Media

Which social media channels (IG, FB, Linkedin, Tik-Tok) do you use? If social media is included in your package, please provide logins for all accounts you currently use for your business and/or a list of channels you’d like to use but don’t have an account for yet.

Email Marketing

If we are planning to setup your email marketing or create any automations, please send the login for the service you currently use. ie. Mailchimp, Convertkit, Mailerlite, Flodesk, etc. If you don't currently have a service, we'll provide you with our best recommendation & next steps.

Current Website

Please provide us the login details for your Squarespace (or other) account where your website is currently hosted. If you don't have that set up yet, please note that & we'll handle it!

Website Domain

This should look like yourbusinessname.com. If you purchased this domain from a 3rd party like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc please provide the login details. If you haven't purchased a domain name yet, we will set that up for you, let us know either way.

Business Card Details

If included in your package, please provide all details you'd like included on your business card.

Canva Details

If Canva setup is included in your package, please provide your login details for Canva.com. If you don't have an account setup yet please create one and provide the details here. If you are adding HOC as a team member please add carly@house-of-creatives.com.

Payment Platform Login

If you're planning on taking payments directly through your website, please provide your payment platform login details so we can integrate. Ie. Stripe, Paypal, Square, Wave.

Business Email Address & Password

This will look like info@yourdomain.com (or something similar), not yourname@gmail.com. If you don't have one setup yet don't fret, we'll set this up for you if needed. If you do have one, please provide login details and what platform you use (Gmail, Outlook, etc)

Booking Login

If you have this, please provide login details here for booking consultations, clients calls, etc. ie. Calendly, Acuity, etc.

Zoom Login

If applicable, please provide your Zoom (video calling) login details here so we can connect/integrate to your calendar and booking system.

Brand Authority

Please list, if applicable, any impressive clients, certifications, business memberships, media features that we can use to add credibility to your website, brand, or marketing (and if you don't have any that's OK too!)

Brands/Websites You Like

Please share links to few websites or brands that you like, either in your field or not, and tell us what you specifically do and don't like about them. (Don't worry, we're not looking for you to pick a design direction, this is more for us to understand your taste and your definition of design words!)

Your Bio & About Page Details

Please provide your bio and/or story to be included on your About page. This doesn't need to be perfect as we'll be using as a guide while writing your website copy!

Offering Details

If applicable, please provide descriptions for each offer you're planning to feature on your website along with pricing, what's included, timing, and payment plans if applicable. Please specify if you want people to reach out via contact form or book a consultation.

Additional Items

Please share any other logins we need. Please also email or share a dropbox or google drive folder to info@house-of-creatives.com with the following (if applicable): 1. Photography or headshots and any images that can be used on your website. 2. Existing documents or marketing collateral if we are editing them like lead magnets, freebies, etc. 3. Content for any other materials you think we'll need! 4. Additional logins if needed.
